Region Read and Roll

VOCART’s Region Read and Roll is an innovative creative placemaking project that transforms Northwest Indiana’s bike share hubs and trail systems into an interactive, accessible storytelling experience. Blending public art, digital storytelling, and active transportation, the project uses universally designed wayfinding installations and QR-enabled content to connect residents and visitors to the cultural and ecological landscapes of the Indiana Dunes. Through partnerships, public programming, and artist-led design, Region Read and Roll promotes cultural tourism, supports creative workforce development, and expands equitable access to arts and mobility across the region.
